Airtec Solenoid Valves
5/2-way solenoid valves from Airtec control double-acting pneumatic actuators by alternately pressurising or venting two working ports. The range covers more than 58 items with port sizes G 1/4" and G 1/2" and return by spring or air spring.
The valves are available in the common voltages 12 V DC, 24 V DC, 24 V AC, 115 V AC and 230 V AC. The type designation such as M 22511HN identifies size, port and return type and supports selection to match the control system.
The 5/2-way principle switches a double-acting cylinder between two end positions by connecting one working port to pressure and the other to exhaust. Monostable valves with spring or air spring return automatically move back to the initial position when the coil is de-energised.
