Control and Directional Valves
Logic modules from Riegler combine pneumatic signals according to the basic functions of switching algebra. The range covers pneumatic logic elements for OR, AND, NOT, YES and MEMORY as well as OR valves and a timer element.
The elements are made from technopolymer or aluminium, with OR valves in ports G 1/8 and G 1/4. With the 8 items available, simple pneumatic control logic can be built without electrical components.
OR valve output signal when pressure is present at at least one input.
AND output signal only when both inputs are pressurised simultaneously.
NOT inversion of the input signal.
MEMORY storage of a switched state.
Timer time-dependent delay in the pneumatic circuit.
Pneumatic logic modules implement control links directly at the air level. They are used where electrical switching logic is avoided for safety or environmental reasons.
