Compressed Air and Pneumatic Couplings

Safety Couplings

Riegler safety couplings of type SEK vent the compressed air line before fully disconnecting, thereby preventing uncontrolled hose whip. The range of more than 402 items uses the nominal width NW 7.8 in nickel-plated brass.

Ports are available as male and female threads in G 1/4, G 3/8 and G 1/2 as well as grommets in clear widths LW 6 to LW 13. Matching insert grommets of hardened, galvanized steel complete the program.

How to choose Safety Couplings

What matters when choosing: properties, comparison and typical applications.

Function and Safety

When uncoupling, the line is first vented before the connection fully releases. This two-stage disconnection reduces the risk of injury from hose whip and protects against sudden pressure drop.

Connection Variants

Male thread in G 1/4, G 3/8 and G 1/2.
Female thread in G 1/4, G 3/8 and G 1/2.
