Electrically Actuated Process and Media Valves
The VZWD series from Festo offers more than 223 directly operated solenoid valves for higher pressures. The versions carry the M22C coil mount and cover port sizes such as G1/4.
As directly controlled valves they switch independently of the media pressure and therefore also work at zero pressure. Variants with V seal (FKM) and different nominal widths allow adaptation to the medium.
Directly operated VZWD valves are used where switching must occur independently of the applied media pressure, including applications with low or no inlet pressure. The FKM seal variant (V) suits more aggressive neutral media, and the nominal width is chosen to match the flow rate.
