Festo signal converters adapt sensor signals to the downstream control system, changing signal levels or switching logic in the process. The SVE4 series is connected via M8 plug and is available with PNP and NPN outputs.
The program covers 8 items with different input and output configurations. This allows sensors and controllers with differing wiring to be connected.
Signal converters are used when sensor output and controller input do not match in level or logic. They convert the signal and thus enable existing components to be connected without rewiring the sensor system.
