Festo optical sensors detect objects and colors by means of light and are used for presence and position monitoring. The program covers retroreflective sensors, through-beam barriers with emitter and receiver (SOEG) as well as color sensors of the SOEC series.
With more than 97 items, the range covers M12 and M18 designs with PNP and NPN outputs as well as cable and plug versions. This solves different detection tasks in automation.
Optical sensors detect workpieces, packaging and markings in conveying and assembly systems. Color sensors additionally check color features, for example for sorting or presence checking of colored parts.
