Elbow push-in fitting »NonPlusUltra«, rotating, M10, Ø 6 mm, FPM (FDA), p = -0,99…25 bar, T = -20…150 °C, 1.4404, PU 10 pcs. The NonPlusUltra series combines excellent material quality with the best workmanship. All components are characterized by maximum tightness and optimized flow. Made entirely of corrosion-free and acid-resistant stainless steel with a surface roughness (Ra) < 0.8, they are extremely robust and easy to clean (can also be sterilized). Movable fittings are suitable for continuous movement due to a special swivel mechanism. The stainless steel unions have a wide range of applications, for example in process engineering, food and pharmaceutical industries, water-cooling, lubrication, gases, vacuum and clean room (suitable cleaning of the parts is the responsibility of the user). They are ideal for use in conjunction with our PUR hoses for food contact (FDA). Available on request with EPDM seals, EPDM seals with drinking water approval, suitable for cleanroom class 3 according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 and with colored ceramic coding.

About Male elbows

Push-in L-fittings turn a tube line through 90 degrees and remove the need for a separate elbow ahead of the consumer. The range accepts tube outside diameters from 3 to 16 mm and works up to 10 to 20 bar depending on version. The lower limit goes down to -0.99 bar, so vacuum lines can be built with the same parts.

What matters when choosing

• Thread: The range covers G 1/8 to G 1/2 male, tapered R 1/8 to R 1/2 male, metric M3, M5 and M6 male plus G 1/4 female. Versions with two ports list thread 1 from G 1/8 to G 1/2 female and thread 2 from G 1/8 male to R 1/2 male separately.
• For tube O.D.: The figure of 3 to 16 mm refers to the outside diameter of the tube, not to the nominal bore. It has to match the tube exactly, otherwise the collet loses its grip.
• Working pressure: The upper limit sits between 10 and 20 bar, the lower limit between -0.99 and 0 bar. Vacuum work calls for the version with the negative lower limit.
• Material and sealant: Plastic with nickel-plated brass, all nickel-plated brass and stainless steel 1.4404 are available, sealed with NBR, FKM or FPM, or FKM or FPM in an FDA-compliant version.
• Medium and series: Besides compressed air, the data covers water, neutral gases and liquids, oil and grease as well as corrosive media within the limits of material compatibility. Series range from Blue Series and Blue Series mini through click-clock, metallica and universal short to inox line and NonPlusUltra.

Thread standards ISO 7-1, DIN EN ISO 228-1 and DIN 13-1 are recorded for part of the 445 items. Operating temperature is given as -20 °C at the low end and, depending on material, 80 to 150 °C at the top.
