Push-in connector L type »NonPlusUltra«, Ø 8 mm, FPM (FDA), p = -0,99…25 bar, T = -20…150 °C, 1.4404, PU 10 pcs. The NonPlusUltra series combines excellent material quality with the best workmanship. All components are characterized by maximum tightness and optimized flow. Made entirely of corrosion-free and acid-resistant stainless steel with a surface roughness (Ra) < 0.8, they are extremely robust and easy to clean (can also be sterilized). Movable fittings are suitable for continuous movement due to a special swivel mechanism. The stainless steel unions have a wide range of applications, for example in process engineering, food and pharmaceutical industries, water-cooling, lubrication, gases, vacuum and clean room (suitable cleaning of the parts is the responsibility of the user). They are ideal for use in conjunction with our PUR hoses for food contact (FDA). Available on request with EPDM seals, EPDM seals with drinking water approval, suitable for cleanroom class 3 according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 and with colored ceramic coding.

About Union elbows

Push-in L-connectors turn a tube line through a right angle and keep the space needed in front of a cylinder or valve to a minimum. The range takes tube of 3 to 16 mm outside diameter and works up to 20 bar. Reducing versions link a plug nipple to a smaller tube size.

What matters when choosing

• Tube outside diameter: 3 to 16 mm. On reducing types the nipple size and the tube size have to be checked separately.
• Series: Blue Series, Blue Series mini, click-clock, metallica, NonPlusUltra and inox line differ in shape and material and thereby also set the pressure and temperature range.
• Material: plastic or nickel plated brass for standard duty, stainless steel 1.4404 where corrosion is a factor.
• Sealant: NBR for compressed air, FKM or FPM for oil, grease and higher temperatures, and the FDA compliant version near food production.
• Pressure range: working pressure reaches 20 bar and vacuum down to -0.99 bar, which covers use on suction circuits.
