About Union elbows

L fittings take the hose line out of the port at a right angle and save space next to cylinders and valves. The group covers male threads from R 1/8 to R 1/2 and tube outside diameters from 5 to 12 mm. Maximum working pressure is 18 to 25 bar depending on the version.

What matters when choosing

• Thread R 1/8, R 1/4, R 3/8 or R 1/2 male follows the port in the cylinder, valve or manifold.
• Tube size: for tube O.D. 5 to 12 mm and hose I.D. 3 to 10 mm. Both dimensions have to match the hose in use, the fitting clamps on the outside diameter.
• Material nickel-plated brass or 1.4404 stainless steel: the stainless parts are meant for aggressive media and high temperatures, brass covers the everyday pneumatic installation.
• Max. working pressure 18 to 25 bar: the brass version is rated 18 bar, the stainless version 25 bar.
• Operating temperature -20 °C to 300 °C: the upper figure applies to part of the range only and should be checked item by item.
