Ball valve fine adjustment, Potable water suitable, nickel-plated bright brass, Temp. -15°C to 120°C, Rp 1, DN 25, PN max. 40 bar Brass ball valves in the standard series with fine adjustment. Unlike our classic standard ball valves (open-close function), this model features a special stem technology that allows finely modulated opening and closing of the line. The flow rate can be regulated extremely precisely as a result. The cock is made of low-lead brass with a bare brass surface on the inside. It is thus safe to use with drinking water. This valve complies with the European standard EN 13828 and the working paper DVGW W 570.

About 2-way ball valves

Ball valves shut off a line with a quarter turn and give full bore when open. The range covers nominal sizes from DN 5 to DN 100 and pressure ratings from PN 12 to PN 100, with threads from G 1/4 to G 2 and Rp 1/2 to Rp 1 1/4. Alongside hand-operated versions there are pneumatically and electrically actuated variants.

What matters when choosing

• Nominal size DN 5 to 100 and pressure rating PN 12 to 100: both follow from line size and system pressure.
• Thread type: parallel G threads to DIN EN ISO 228-1 and tapered threads to ISO 7-1 or DIN EN 10226 are both represented. The standard has to match the mating part in the line.
• Actuation: besides hand levers there are pneumatic actuators in double-acting, single-acting spring-to-close and single-acting spring-to-open form, plus electric actuators for 230 V AC / 50 Hz and 24 V DC. Spring-return units move to a defined position if control air is lost.
• Body material: nickel-plated, chrome-plated or bare brass, stainless steel 1.4401 and 1.4408, aluminium and powder-coated aluminium, and the plastics PA and PA6/PC.
• Position feedback: versions are available with microswitch, with inductive switch and with inductive switch in ATEX design.
