About Cross

A cross piece splits the medium from one line into three outlets and replaces two tees fitted one after the other. The group holds 16 items with female threads from G 1/8 to Rp 1 and is rated for 16 to 60 bar operating pressure depending on the material.

What matters when choosing

• Thread 1 and thread 2: the range covers G 1/8 to G 3/4 and Rp 1/8 to Rp 1, all female. Rp takes a tapered male thread and seals in the thread itself, G needs a seal on the face.
• Port pattern: versions with 4 x female and with 3 x female plus 1 x male are available. The latter saves an extra nipple at the inlet.
• Max. operating pressure 16 to 60 bar: the brass parts are rated 60 bar, the stainless steel cross distributors 20 bar.
• Max. operating temperature 120 to 175 °C: the higher figure belongs to the stainless version, which is the deciding limit with steam or hot oil.
• Material: nickel-plated brass for standard installations, 1.4408 stainless steel for media that attack brass.
