About Clamping nut

The clamping nut holds the hose fitting together and presses the clamping ring onto the hose. It is needed both as an assembly part and as a spare for the POM fitting range and covers hose 6/4 to 12/9 mm. Operating pressure is 0 to 10 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Thread: M10x1.0 male plus M12x1.0, M14x1.0 and M16x1.0 female. The nut has to match the thread of the fitting already installed.
• Hose size: tube outside diameter 6 to 12 mm with inside diameter 4 to 9 mm. Thread and hose size belong together, so check both figures against the hose in use.
• Width across flats: AF 12 to AF 19 depending on size. In a tight installation this dimension is worth checking before ordering.
• Material POM: light, dimensionally stable and abrasion resistant, the temperature range stated for the items is -10 °C to 60 °C. The range is not meant for media that attack the plastic.
• Operating pressure: 0 to 10 bar. Above that a metal fitting belongs in that position.
