SMC quick exhaust valves speed up the exhausting of pneumatic lines and cylinders. Sample products are the AQ series with threaded port and push-in fitting as well as the electrically actuated EAQ series.
The range holds 29 items with various connections. By releasing the air quickly close to the actuator, switching times are shortened and cylinder motion is accelerated.
Quick exhaust valves are mounted close to the cylinder and route the exhaust air directly to atmosphere instead of leading it back through long lines to the control valve. This shortens return stroke times and allows higher cylinder speed.
