Power and Check Valves
SMC silencers of the ASN2 series combine an adjustable exhaust throttle with a silencer in one component. They are screwed directly into the exhaust port of valves and regulate the flow speed there while reducing noise.
The series comprises 18 items with metric and pipe thread ports from M5 to G1/2. Adjustment is made via a simple setting knob, optionally with a lock against unintended change.
Silencers with throttle are fitted to the exhaust ports of directional valves to set cylinder speed while reducing the exhaust noise of the compressed air. Compared with separate throttle and silencer solutions they save installation space.
