SMC ESD Devices cover measurement and protection technology against electrostatic charge in industrial applications. The range spans electrostatic sensors of the IZD10 series, digital display meters of the IZE11 series and ionizers of the IZF10 series in fan design.
More than 50 items of accessories complete the program, including power supplies, cables, mounting elements and cassette housings. This allows complete systems for detecting and neutralizing static charge to be built up in production and handling.
Electrostatic sensors and ionizers are used wherever static charge disturbs processes or endangers components, for example in electronics manufacturing, when handling plastic parts or in cleanroom environments. The digital display meters record the charge level, while the IZF10 ionizers neutralize the charge in a targeted manner.
