SMC controllers of the PSE20 and PSE300 series evaluate the signals of connected pressure and vacuum sensors and provide switching outputs and display functions. The PSE20 offers several sensor inputs for central evaluation.
These devices form the evaluation unit for the SMC sensor series and handle switching point setting, display and signal output separately from the measuring element itself.
Sensor controllers are used when the measuring element is located in a hard-to-reach position and display and parameter setting are to be carried out in a separate location. Models with several inputs combine the evaluation of multiple sensors in one device.
