The SMC electrically driven slide unit E-MY is a rodless electric linear actuator with an integrated guide for guided motion over longer strokes. The electric drive enables variable positions and defined motion profiles on a compact footprint.
The range comprises 7 items in various sizes and stroke lengths, supplemented by compensating elements and mounting accessories. The unit is the electric counterpart to the pneumatic slide unit for handling tasks.
The electric slide unit is used in handling, conveying and positioning tasks with longer travel where guided linear motion and variable intermediate positions are required. The rodless design saves installation space compared with cylinders that have an extending rod.
