SMC stopper cylinders stop and separate workpieces and workpiece carriers on conveyors and transport belts. The RS(D)Q-Z series works with a fixed installation height and absorbs the forces occurring at impact through an integrated damping element.
The range comprises more than 400 items in various bore sizes, supplemented by accessories such as band mountings. This covers different workpiece weights and conveyor speeds.
Stopper cylinders are used in transfer and conveyor systems to halt, buffer or separate workpiece carriers at defined positions. The integrated damping reduces impact loads and protects both the conveyed goods and the equipment.
