SMC special cylinders bring together pneumatic actuators for specific requirements, such as low-friction cylinders and high-output cylinders for long strokes and higher loads. They extend the standard cylinder programme with solutions for special installation and operating conditions.
The range comprises more than 581 items, including the MQQ and RHC series in various bore sizes and stroke lengths. Versions range from compact cylinders to double-acting cylinders with a standard piston rod.
Low-friction cylinders are used at low operating pressures and for smooth, slow motion, while high-output cylinders are designed for long strokes and higher payloads. Such special versions are applied in special-purpose machines, test rigs and systems with particular motion requirements.
