SMC switches detect the end positions of pneumatic cylinders via the magnetic field of the piston and report the position as an electrical signal to the controller. The programme includes the series D switches and the associated mounting aids and band mountings.
The range comprises more than 207 items, including various fixing and band-mounting variants for different cylinder series. This allows switches to be matched to the respective cylinder and groove form.
Switches are used for end-position sensing on pneumatic cylinders and grippers and provide the controller with feedback on reached positions. Suitable mounting aids and band mountings allow attachment to different cylinder profiles and grooves.
