The SMC MGC series comprises compact guided cylinders in which cylinder and guide form a single unit. The MGCL design uses a ball guide for low friction and high repeatability. The range covers sizes from Ø 20 with numerous stroke lengths, optionally with a stop in the R design.
More than 200 items are available. The integrated guide absorbs lateral and moment loads and allows a non-rotating motion without a separate linear guide.
Compact guided cylinders of the MGC series are used in assembly and handling technology for feeding, clamping, stopping and positioning workpieces. The integrated ball guide suits tasks with lateral load that require a precise and non-rotating motion.
