The SMC MGZ series comprises double-piston cylinders with a non-rotating piston rod, designed as high-output cylinders for higher forces. The double-piston arrangement generates greater force within the same installation space. The range covers sizes from Ø 32 with a wide stroke spectrum up to long stroke lengths.
More than 70 items of the TF design with a sensor mounting groove are available. The non-rotating piston rod allows loads to be mounted directly without an additional anti-rotation device.
MGZ series double-piston cylinders are used where higher force is needed within limited space, for example clamping, pressing and advancing in assembly and automation technology. The non-rotating piston rod suits the direct mounting of guided loads.
