The SMC CXS series comprises double-acting dual rod compact cylinders, in which two parallel guided piston rods prevent the workpiece from twisting. This design delivers anti-rotation linear motion without an additional external guide.
The range covers more than 160 items in various bores and stroke lengths, including versions with a single-end piston rod. The compact construction is suited to confined installation conditions.
CXS dual rod cylinders are used for anti-rotation lifting and handling tasks where a compact design with high torsional rigidity is required without a separate external guide, such as lifting, clamping or feeding workpieces.
