Riegler hose nozzles and union nuts together form a detachable barb connection. The hexagon union nut clamps the nozzle against its counter-seat so the hose is held securely.
The range covers more than 70 items, many in stainless steel 1.4571 as well as nickel-plated brass. Union nuts run from G 1/4 to G 1 and are matched to nozzle sizes by inner diameter (LW 4 to 25).
The nozzle is pushed into the hose and clamped to the threaded port via the hexagon union nut. Ball-nipple nozzles allow a degree of angular compensation. Selection follows the nut's connecting thread (G 1/4 to G 1) and the nozzle size by inner diameter.
