The Nitto Kohki HI Cupla ACE is a low-spill plastic quick coupling for compressed air, nitrogen and water with an operating pressure up to approx. 1.5 MPa (15 bar). Valved on both ends, light PBT/POM body.

Operating principle

On disconnection the valve in the socket closes the supply line. The fluid left in the plug escapes.

The weight is merely a quarter of steel HI CUPLA's and smooth push-in connection is achieved.
Separation prevention mechanism for safety operation.
Pressure ratings comparable to steel CUPLA.
A built-in separation prevention mechanism locks the sleeve upon connection, thus prevents accidental disconnection.
Just push plug into socket for simple connection.
The weight is a quarter of steel HI CUPLA for easy handling.
Can be used for air and water.
Air flows in either direction from plug or from socket side when coupled.

Pick HI CUPLA ACE for air lines that need the 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2} class together with a plastic body at a quarter of the weight of steel HI CUPLA and a sleeve lock against accidental disconnection; plastic plugs and Model HA-T stay at 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2}. MICRO CUPLA, SMALL CUPLA, SUPER CUPLA, COMPACT CUPLA and CUBE CUPLA are rated 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2} and come into question only where that lower pressure is sufficient, and COMPACT CUPLA and CUBE CUPLA where shut-off on both sides is required instead of the one-way shut-off of HI CUPLA ACE. Where the same 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2} is needed in metal, HI CUPLA, HI CUPLA 200, FULL BLOW CUPLA and LINE CUPLA 200 remain available; HI CUPLA ACE is interchangeable with HI CUPLA models 10, 17, 20, 30, 40 and 60.
