The Nitto Kohki HI Cupla 200 is a higher-pressure variant of the HI series for compressed air, nitrogen and water with an operating pressure up to 2.0 MPa (20 bar). The 2.0 MPa version of the proven HI Cupla.

Operating principle

On disconnection the valve in the socket closes the supply line. The fluid left in the plug escapes.

Just push the plug into the socket for simple and secure connection. This reduces connection time and improves efficiency.
New valve design for low pressure loss to achieve flow rate increase (15% up over the conventional model).
End-face seal is achieved when connected.
Enhanced operability with low connection resistance.
End-face seal design is superior to external seal with an O-ring due to no seal damage caused by exhausted lubrication.
Available only with steel body. Not suitable for water or oil.
Also available with quick connect/disconnect Tube Fitter type.
Push-to-connect type for air lines.

Choose HI CUPLA 200 for air lines worked at up to 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2}, where the 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2} of MICRO CUPLA, SMALL CUPLA, COMPACT CUPLA, CUBE CUPLA and SUPER CUPLA is not enough. Against the equally rated one-way shut-off series HI CUPLA, FULL BLOW CUPLA, LINE CUPLA 200 and HI CUPLA ACE it is the choice when the seal is to sit on the end face and when socket and tube are to be joined in one push by the integrated Tube Fitter. It is no candidate where the line has to stay open, which is what the straight through LEVER LOCK CUPLA does, nor where two-way shut-off as in COMPACT CUPLA or CUBE CUPLA is required, and it stays limited to air on a steel body.

When connecting an extremely soft tube such as soft polyurethane or soft nylon, attach the insert ring specified by the tube manufacturer to the inner diameter of the tube to be connected.
Do not exceed the maximum tightening torque given for each thread size.
