Festo actuator attachments are mechanical add-ons for directional valves that switch a valve by hand or through machine elements. The range includes roller levers, tappet levers, roller tappet levers, spring rods and manual override attachments.
With more than 80 items the group covers common actuation types for triggering pneumatic valves. The attachments are mounted on the respective valve and determine how the valve is actuated.
Roller lever Actuation by a machine part running against the roller.
Tappet and roller tappet levers Switching with a preferred direction or non-return function.
Spring rod Omnidirectional mechanical actuation via a flexible rod.
Manual override Manual switching of the valve for commissioning or fault finding.
Actuator attachments are used where valves are switched mechanically by end positions, cams or moving machine parts. Manual overrides also allow safe switching without an electrical signal during setup and maintenance.
