Festo clamping cylinders comprise more than 280 items and serve to clamp and fix workpieces in assembly and fixture technology. The range includes linear swivel clamps of the CLR series, among others.
Linear swivel clamps combine a linear stroke movement with a swivelling motion of the clamping arm, so the workpiece stays freely accessible from the side. The designs are often available in right- and left-hand versions.
Clamping cylinders fix workpieces during machining, joining and inspection in fixtures and assembly machines. Linear swivel clamps clear the clamping area to the side after release, which makes loading and unloading easier.
