Festo rotary actuators comprise more than 400 items and convert pneumatic energy into a limited rotary movement. The range includes rotary actuators of the DSM series and combined swivel/linear units such as the DSL series.
Rotary actuators typically work with defined swivel angles, for instance 180 and 240 degrees in this range. They are used to rotate, turn and position workpieces and grippers.
Rotary actuators perform rotating, turning and positioning tasks in handling and assembly technology. Combined swivel/linear units merge rotation and linear motion in a single drive. Selection is based on torque, swivel angle and mounting options.
