Festo rodless cylinders comprise 56 items and transfer the piston movement to a travelling slide or carriage without a protruding piston rod. The range includes linear drives of the DLGF series.
Because no piston rod extends, the space required corresponds roughly to the unit's own length, which allows long strokes on a small footprint. The load is taken up directly via the guided slide.
Rodless cylinders suit long travel distances with limited installation space, for example in handling and transport technology. The guided slide takes up transverse and moment loads and allows the payload to be connected directly.
