Festo DNC standard cylinders in metric form are profile standard cylinders with a standardised connection and mounting pattern from the Classic programme. The range comprises around 6 items with graded piston diameters and stroke lengths.
The standard design simplifies replacement and spare-part stocking in existing equipment. The examples show piston diameters from 50 to 100 mm with different stroke lengths and adjustable end-position cushioning (PPV).
DNC standard cylinders are used in general machine building for positioning, pressing and feed tasks with medium to larger forces. The standardised port pattern simplifies replacement in existing equipment and the sourcing of suitable mountings.
