Classic
Festo DGPL linear drives in metric form are rodless pneumatic actuators with a force-locking band guide from the Classic programme. The range comprises around 12 items with long strokes in a compact width.
Rodless drives save space because the overall length corresponds roughly to the stroke plus the end caps. The examples show sizes from 25 to 40 mm with strokes up to 1000 mm and adjustable end-position cushioning (PPV).
Rodless DGPL linear drives are used for long travel in limited installation space, for example in handling, transport and lifting or pushing tasks. Because no extending piston rod requires room, the drive can be installed compactly even with a long stroke.
