Straight screw-in fitting, ET conical, R 1/4, for hose 6/4 mm, AF 12/14, Pressure max. 25 bar, Stainless steel 1.4404 Supplied without seals. For use with corrosive media and at high temperatures. Screw fitting series made of stainless steel for all applications where compliance with strict tightness, pressure and temperature requirements is essential. The parts are manufactured without rubber seals, in other words they are ideal for very high temperatures or for use with corrosive liquids, e.g. in cases when FPM is no longer suitable.

About Unions

A straight fitting joins tube and threaded port on one axis and is the basic building block of any line layout. Depending on the design, the tube is pushed in or clamped with a union nut. The group covers tube outside diameters from 4 to 12 mm and hose inside diameters from 2 to 10 mm.

What matters when choosing

• Threads are available as male and female from M5 and G 1/8 up to G 1. Adapter versions add thread 1 as a female G 3/4 to G 1 1/4 and thread 2 as the matching male thread.
• Push-in versions follow the tube O.D. from 4 to 12 mm, clamping versions the hose I.D. from 2 to 10 mm. The two figures must not be mixed up.
• The version decides how the joint is handled. A union nut is meant for permanent installation, a knurled nut for connections opened by hand.
• Material follows medium and temperature. Nickel-plated brass and brass CW614N cover general compressed air work, PA, POM and polypropylene lightweight assemblies, and PFA plus stainless steel 1.4571 and 1.4404 chemically loaded runs.
• For the seal, NBR covers standard air, silicone-free NBR paint and coating areas, and FKM or FPM higher temperatures and oil-bearing media.

The material range runs from nickel-plated brass and brass CW614N through PA, POM and polypropylene to perfluoroalkoxy and stainless steels 1.4571 and 1.4404. The operating temperature range of the group is correspondingly wide, from -200 °C to 300 °C.
