About Anti-spark PU hoses

A black resin cover sits over the blue polyurethane core and shields the hose against welding sparks. This allows compressed air lines to be routed at workstations where bare PU tube would be damaged by flying sparks. Working pressure is between 5 and 12 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Hose O.D. and I.D.: 6x4, 8x5 and 12x8 mm. The bore sets the flow rate, the outside diameter decides which push-in connectors will fit.
• Working pressure: 5 to 12 bar, the same across all three sizes of the series.
• Temperature range: -40 °C to 70 °C. The range applies to the hose, not to direct contact with the arc.
• Core and cover construction: the sleeve does not bond to the inner tube and can be stripped back far enough for the ends to be joined with ordinary fittings.
• Reel length and min. bend radius: supplied on 25 m reels. The minimum bend radius decides how tightly the line can be taken around machine edges.
