Couplings and Disconnects
Coolant and temperature control couplings join the water-carrying sections of a data centre wherever a connection has to stay releasable: at the coolant distribution unit, the heat exchanger, the dry cooler and the rack supply lines. Unlike compressed air couplings they are built for liquid standing permanently in the line, with shut-off valves in one or both halves and seals that survive a water-glycol mixture. The category holds 160 items from Nitto Kohki, Riegler and our own brand.
The core comes from the Nitto series SP-A Cupla in sizes 2S-A through 6P-A, TSP Cupla from 1TSH to 8TSF, the hot water HW Cupla range and the short-bodied Compact Cupla such as CO-40PN and CO-60PN. Ports run from Rc 1/4 and R 1/4 up to R 1, in brass or stainless steel. For a closed IT circuit the stainless types are the right choice; brass only where the entire circuit stays within one material family.
