About Union

Straight screw-in fittings connect a tube to a threaded port on the component and carry the full system pressure. The series covers tube outside diameters from 6 to 28 mm, with nominal pressure ratings from PN 160 to PN 630.

What matters when choosing

• Tube outside diameter, 6 to 28 mm, has to be matched exactly, because the cutting ring and the nut are made for that one diameter.
• The screw-in thread is either BSP from G 1/8 male to G 1 male or metric from M12x1.5 male to M33x2.0 male. It follows the port on the valve block, cylinder or power unit.
• Nominal pressure runs from 160 to 630 bar and differs by size. What counts is the highest pressure occurring in the circuit, not the nominal working pressure.
• Materials are galvanised steel and stainless steel 1.4571, both to DIN 2353. Stainless is used in corrosive surroundings or with aggressive media.
• Part of the series carries an FKM seal. Those versions seal on the sealing cone rather than through the thread alone.
