About 45° screw connections

An adjustable 45° screw connection carries a tube line onward at half a right angle and can be lined up before final tightening, the product texts state 360° swivel. Sealing is done by the cone on the nut. The group covers tube outside diameters from 6 to 28 mm at nominal pressures from 160 to 630 bar.

What matters when choosing

• PN: 160 to 630 bar. Nominal pressure follows series and tube size, the samples show 630 bar at tube O.D. 6 and 8 mm and 160 bar at 22 and 28 mm.
• Tube O.D.: 6 to 28 mm. The figure has to match the installed tube, because the cutting ring bites onto the outside diameter.
• Nut female thread: it belongs to the tube size, the samples pair M12x1.5 with tube O.D. 6 mm and M36x2.0 with 28 mm. Checking the mating part avoids wrong orders.
• Material: galvanised steel to DIN 2353 for all 15 items. There is no stainless version in this group.
