Bending the very light tubing is possible without special tools. Good resistance against corrosion and various chemicals. The interior tube remains dry due to a film/aluminium barrier and can be laid in the ground without additional protection. Connection is possible with push-in connectors (additional self testing) and cutting ring fittings (amplification sleeve recommended). About Pipes and coils

Tubing and coil stock form the fixed distribution level between the compressor and the consumer, with connectors only at the ends. Outside diameters run from 4 to 54 mm and permitted working pressures from 6 to 38 bar, reaching down to -0.95 bar under vacuum. Delivery is either on coils or as straight lengths.

What matters when choosing

• Material comes first. Hard PA 12 to DIN 73378 suits control and machine lines, LLDPE and LDPE are supplied as coil stock, and surface-coated aluminium is used for fixed distribution piping.
• Tube outside diameter from 4 to 54 mm has to match the push-in connector. The speedfit and sharkbite series are dimensioned for it.
• Maximum working pressure lies between 6 and 38 bar depending on material and wall thickness. Use the figure of the actual tube rather than the top value of the group.
• Operating temperature reaches down to -60 °C on the cold-rated versions and up to 65 °C or 100 °C at the upper end.
• Delivery form and installation belong together. Coil length, tube length and the minimum bending radius decide how many bends and connectors a run needs.
