About Differential pressure gauges
Differential pressure gauges show the pressure difference between two measuring points directly, with no need to compare two separate instruments. Two independent measuring systems work inside one case, so the gauge can equally be used to read two individual gauge pressures. The group covers full scale values from 1 to 10 bar on a 100 mm dial.
What matters when choosing
- Measuring range max.: 1 to 10 bar. Pick the full scale value so that the normal operating pressure falls in the easily readable part of the scale.
- Thread: G 1/2 male throughout, arranged as a parallel spigot connection with two ports at the bottom. The take-off points in the plant have to suit that layout.
- Diameter: 100 mm. This governs how far away the gauge can still be read and how much space it needs on pipework or panel.
- Housing: steel across the whole group, which stands up to rough plant conditions.
- Medium temperature: up to 60 °C, with -20 °C documented as the lower figure for part of the range. Hotter media call for a cooling section ahead of the gauge.

- Pump checks where suction and discharge side are watched at the same time
- Heat exchangers and cooling circuits with two separate pressure levels
