About Service systems multi-part
Multi-part air preparation units combine filter, regulator and lubricator in one assembly and condition the compressed air right before the machine. The range filters from 5 to 40 µm, regulates to end pressures between 1 and 16 bar and handles flow rates from 300 to 13500 l/min.
What matters when choosing
- Flow rate from 300 to 13500 l/min: size it to the machine's real air demand, otherwise pressure collapses on load peaks.
- Filter rating between 5 and 40 µm: coarser elements last longer, finer ones give valves and cylinders better protection.
- Control range: lower limits fall between 0 and 2.5 bar, upper limits between 1 and 16 bar. Keep the working pressure away from the edge of the range you choose.
- Condensate drain, manual, semi-automatic (RMSA) or fully automatic (RA, also the version closed when depressurised): automatic drains pay off where access is poor or condensate loads are high.
- Port size from G 1/8 to G 1 1/2 and body size BG: both have to suit line size and flow. Maximum inlet pressure runs between 10 and 25 bar depending on version.
