About Connector

The connector sits at the end of the hose on a tyre gauge and makes the link to the tyre valve. It decides how quickly the gauge can be applied and whether air escapes while inflating. The group holds four versions for standard tyre gauges, three of them with hose connection I.D. 6.

What matters when choosing

• Design: available as a tyre valve lever connector, a QUIK-LOK connector, a quick connector and a garage plug. The lever type is locked onto the valve with the lever, the quick connector is simply pushed on.
• Hose connection: I.D. 6 on the tyre valve lever connector, the QUIK-LOK connector and the quick connector. The figure has to match the clear bore of the hose in use, otherwise the joint will not hold.
• Garage plug: this version is listed without a hose size and is intended for use at a filling station.
• Fit to the gauge: all four connectors are made for standard type tyre gauges. Before ordering it is worth checking that the gauge on hand is of that design.
