Quick-exhaust valves, manually operated »Blue Series«, R 1/8 o., angled, for hose exterior Ø 6mm, pmax short term 15bar Push-in fittings series manufactured in plastic and nickel-plated brass. All parts are suitable for use with hoses, tubes or pipes made of plastic. Used to specifically drain the medium from the pipework system, i.e. to vent it. It is opened by pressing the button and automatically returns to the closed position thanks to an integrated return spring as soon as the button is no longer pressed.

About Function connectors

Function fittings add a second job to the line itself, such as throttling exhaust air or blocking one direction, which saves a separate valve and its piping. They install like an ordinary push-in fitting and run on compressed air up to 10 bar. The group holds 335 articles for tube outside diameters from 3 to 12 mm.

What matters when choosing

• The thread sets the mounting point. Parallel G threads from G 1/8 to G 1/2, tapered R threads in the same sizes and M3 or M5 for small ports are available.
• The tube O.D. from 3 to 12 mm has to match the existing line. On throttle versions it also decides, together with the thread, which body shapes exist.
• Working pressure tops out at 10 bar. Some versions reach down to -0.95 bar and therefore suit vacuum sections, while others require a minimum of 1.5 bar.
• The series fixes the body size. Blue Series is the standard build, Blue Series mini covers tight installation spaces.
• Versions with two threads are defined by thread 1 and thread 2, for example a step from G 1/2 to G 1/4. Decide first which side is screwed in permanently.

All parts are made from plastic and nickel-plated brass and sealed with NBR, threads follow DIN EN ISO 228-1, ISO 7-1 and DIN 13-1. The specified medium is compressed air.
