Zinc spray, Permanent cathodic protection, Resistant to salt and water, Temp. max. 300 °C, 400 ml Provides all metal surfaces with long-lasting cathodic corrosion protection. Resistant protective layer against weather and environmental influences. This spray can be used to repair damaged galvanised parts, as high-quality rust protection primer or for the coating of welded joints and drill holes. It meets all the requirements of DIN 53167 or DIN 50021 and DIN EN ISO 1461.

About Technical sprays

Technical sprays cover the small maintenance jobs that do not justify a tool of their own: freeing rust, restoring contacts, lubricating sliding surfaces, coating metal or making leaks in pressure lines visible. The group holds 21 items, mostly in the 400 ml can size.

What matters when choosing

• Start from the job: the range covers leak detection, rust remover, contact, allround and silicone sprays, a high performance cutting oil and coating sprays in zinc, aluminium, stainless steel and copper.
• Temperature rating is given per item and runs from -50 °C for the silicone spray up to 800 °C for the aluminium spray. The zinc, stainless steel and copper coating sprays are rated to 300 °C, the stainless steel care spray to -20 °C up to 130 °C.
• Compatibility with the surface: the silicone spray is intended for plastic, rubber and metal, the stainless steel care spray for matt and polished stainless surfaces, the zinc spray for cathodic corrosion protection on metal.
• A max. operating pressure of 3 bar is recorded on two items of the group. Where it is stated it limits use on the pressure line and should be checked before application.
• Shipping and storage: every item carries a UN number and a transport hazard class, which matters for order quantity and storage location with aerosol cans.
