About Tees

A tee takes a second branch off a line or brings two runs together. The group covers threads from G 1/8 to G 1, with maximum operating pressure reaching 150 bar depending on version. It lets an existing installation grow without redoing the pipe routing.

What matters when choosing

• Start with the thread type. Female versions carry G or Rp, male versions R, and both all-female and all-male tees are available.
• Thread 1 and thread 2 run from G 1/8 IT to G 1 IT or R 1/8 ET to R 1 ET. The third port is listed separately as thread 3, which is how reduced branches are identified.
• Maximum operating pressure lies between 16 and 150 bar. It depends on the article and has to be checked against the system pressure.
• Maximum operating temperature ranges from 120 to 175 °C and sets the limit for hot media.
• Lengths L1 and L2 are quoted per article. They matter wherever the branch has to fit inside a tight frame or cabinet.
