About Reducers

Reducers bring two pipes of different outside diameter together inside one cutting ring fitting, without a threaded adapter and without an extra sealing point. The range is rated for nominal pressures from 160 to 630 bar and is therefore aimed at hydraulic lines.

What matters when choosing

• Pipe pairing: the socket diameter on both sides must suit the pipes already installed, typical steps being 8/6, 12/10 or 15/12 mm. Each side carries its own cutting ring.
• PN: pressure ratings run from 160 to 630 bar. Size to the highest load occurring in the system, peaks included.
• Material: galvanised steel to DIN 2353 for standard hydraulic duty, stainless steel 1.4571 for corrosive surroundings and aggressive media.
• Installation dimensions: lengths L1 and L2 together with the across-flats sizes SW 1, SW 2 and SW 3 show whether the reducer can still be fitted and reached with a spanner in the planned position.
• Version: part of the range is listed as light series, which matters when combining it with the other fittings of the same line.
