About System additions
System accessories brings together the parts used to monitor, connect and level a vacuum system: sensors, pressure switches, spring plungers and connecting pieces. The 24 items use threads from M5 to G 1/2 and overall lengths of 15.5 to 154 mm. The electrical devices are rated for 0 °C to 80 °C.
What matters when choosing
- Thread 1 and thread 2: available as M5 ET, M10x1.25 ET and G 1/8, G 1/4 and G 1/2, each as internal and external thread. Both ends have to match the suction cup and the vacuum generator.
- Length 15.5 to 154 mm: on spring plungers the overall length together with the spring travel sets how much height difference can be levelled out at the workpiece and how much installation space is needed.
- Housing in aluminium or polycarbonate: aluminium for mechanically loaded positions, polycarbonate for light devices mounted right at the gripper.
- Measuring range max. 0 to 10 bar: sensors for pure vacuum monitoring end at 0 bar, pressure switches also cover positive pressure. The working point of the system has to fall inside the range.
- Protection IP 40 and M5 ET connection on the mini sensors: both limit the mounting position and the ambient conditions and should be checked before selection.
