Hydraulic coupling, Series A, I.D. 13, Brass, G 1/2 IT, Operating pressure max. 250 bar, Operating temp. -30 °C to 100 °C Acc. to ISO 7241-1, A Series. This coupling series combines an extremely small pressure drop with maximum hydraulic power transmission. Interchangeable with all couplings and plugs manufactured according to the above standard. The patented pressure eliminator permits disconnection even if back pressure has built up (up to 200 bar). The pressure eliminator can be used in all applications where there is a risk of pressure build-up after the line has been separated. It allows effortless connection under pressure. The mating part must be pressureless in order for the eliminator to function optimally. Areas of application: Agricultural machines, construction machines, municipal engineering, transportation engineering, industrial plant.

About Hydraulic couplings

Hydraulic couplings disconnect and reconnect fluid lines without tools. Versions that shut off on both sides hold the medium in each half of the line, so very little oil is lost when uncoupling. Maximum operating pressure runs from 10 to 400 bar depending on size, with connections from G 1/8 IT to G 1 IT.

What matters when choosing

• Connection: G 1/8 IT through G 1 IT, which together with the nominal bore sets the flow that can be reached.
• Operating pressure: the maximum lies between 10 and 400 bar. Smaller bores cover the higher pressures, larger bores correspondingly less.
• Housing material: plain brass, nickel plated brass, steel, stainless steel 1.4305 or white POM (Delrin), chosen by medium, corrosion load and weight.
• Sealant: NBR for mineral oil and normal temperatures, FKM where medium temperature reaches up to 200 °C.
• Overall length: allow 29.5 to 96 mm when the coupling sits inside a power unit or behind a cover.
