About Logic elements
Pneumatic logic elements combine pressure signals in the air itself, without a detour through electrical wiring and a controller. The group provides the OR, AND, NOT, YES, MEMORY and timer functions at flow rates from 100 to 1300 Nl/min. It suits simple sequence control wherever electrical signals are unwanted or not permitted.
What matters when choosing
- Function: OR, AND, NOT, YES, MEMORY or timer. It defines how the inputs are linked. On the timer the delay is infinitely adjustable via a selector and can be extended further by connecting an external reservoir.
- Flow rate: 100 to 1300 Nl/min. It has to match the downstream valve or cylinder, otherwise the logic element itself acts as a restrictor and switching times increase.
- Working pressure: depending on the version the lower limit is between 0 and 2.5 bar, the upper limit between 6 and 8 bar. The aluminium OR valves are rated at 2 to 10 bar operating pressure and are the most pressure resistant option here.
- Material: techno-polymer, or anodised aluminium combined with techno-polymer. The plastic version is lighter and more compact, the aluminium version takes more mechanical load. Sealing is NBR throughout.
- Length: 38.5 to 107 mm. This dimension governs the space required when several elements sit side by side on one rail.

- End position signals combined by an OR function into a single output
- Delayed step-on in pneumatic sequences using the timer element
- Latching a short push-button signal where no electrical relay may be used
- Control tasks in wet or hazardous areas that must stay free of electrical components on site
The techno-polymer elements carry an adapter for the Ω rail to DIN EN 50022 integrated in the body, so they can be lined up inside a control box. The sealing material is NBR, and production takes place in Austria, Italy and Germany.
