The condensate enters the integrated collecting tank, in which the level is continuously monitored. When the condensate reaches the maximum mark, the pilot valve opens and the condensate is forced into the discharge line by the system pressure. The valve closes again when the level reaches the minimum mark. About Condensate drain

Condensate drains remove the condensate collecting in a compressed air system from receivers, separators and filters without losing an appreciable amount of air. The group holds one timer controlled and one level controlled unit for 230 V / 50 Hz plus the matching accessories. Operating pressure reaches up to 16 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Control principle: the level controlled version monitors the level in the integrated collecting chamber and opens the pilot valve only once the maximum is reached. The timer controlled version works with blow and pause intervals and is the simpler answer where condensate accumulates evenly.
• Operating pressure: 0.2 to 16 bar. The level controlled version needs that minimum pressure so the pilot valve switches reliably.
• Voltage: 230 V / 50 Hz for both drains. No unit for other supply systems is held in this group.
• Protection class: IP 65, which allows installation in dusty and damp surroundings.
• Accessories: the range includes a pulse generator and a service kit, both available separately. Anyone specifying the drain permanently should stock the service kit with it.
