Pressure reducing valve, G 1/4 interior / exterior, AF 17, Set pressure 2.05 bar, Input pressure max. 15 bar, Material: Brass Industry, trade and repair shops often require working pressures of 15 bar or less. These pressure reducing valves, which are screwed directly onto the tool, enable that the pressure can be reduced to the selected working pressure. Benefits: - Significantly reduced risk of accidents - Longer tool life with fewer malfunctions - Lower noise levels at the workplace

About Pressure regulators
Pressure regulators hold the outlet pressure steady even when inlet pressure varies or consumption changes. The range covers control ranges starting between 0 and 5 bar and ending between 1 and 200 bar, with inlet pressures up to 60 bar. Ports run from G 1/8 to G 2.
What matters when choosing
- Control range: lower limits sit between 0 and 5 bar, upper limits between 1 and 200 bar. Keep the working pressure inside the range rather than at its edge.
- Flow rate from 1000 to 50000 l/min: the regulator has to cover peak demand, otherwise secondary pressure drops away on every load peak.
- Medium: besides compressed air and neutral gases there are versions for drinking water, nitrogen and argon, plus variants for ultra-fine filtered oil-free air down to 0.01 µm.
- Body material: aluminium, aluminium die-cast, brass, zinc die-cast, technopolymer, PA66 GF60, stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L) and gunmetal in the Rg5, CC499K and 2.1096.01 grades.
- Series: alongside the mechanical FUTURA, SYNTESI, multifix, variobloc, inline and Standard lines, the electronically controlled REGTRONIC 300 and 400 series handle setpoint-driven applications.
Typical applications
- Holding a steady working pressure at machines and air tools
- Reducing mains pressure to the level required by individual sub-circuits
- Setpoint-driven pressure control on test rigs using the electronic versions
- Pressure reduction in drinking water lines
- Feeding test and measuring rigs with nitrogen or argon
Sealing materials include NBR, FKM, FPM, EPDM, SBR, PU, HNBR and TPU depending on the series. 102 items are rated to protection class IP 65.
